The terms that apply when you request service from J&M Platinum Transports.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of this website and to any service you request from J&M Platinum Transports LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By requesting service, you agree to these Terms.
Services we provide
We provide flatbed towing, mobile tire service, accident assistance, winch outs and recovery, roadside assistance (jump starts, fuel delivery and vehicle lockouts), repossession recovery, junk and scrap removal, vehicle transport, heavy haul and long haul freight. We are a DOT-registered motor carrier operating under USDOT #3854197 and MC #1405847, with active interstate authority for general freight and motor vehicles.
Requesting service and authorization
When you request service you confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or load, or are otherwise authorised to have it moved, and that you have the authority to allow us onto the property where it sits. If a vehicle is on private property, the person who controls that property must have authorised the removal. Repossession work is carried out only on the instruction of a lienholder or their authorised agent, and only where the right to repossess has been evidenced to us.
Quotes and pricing
We quote a price before we dispatch. A quote is based on the information you give us. If the actual conditions turn out to be materially different — for example, the vehicle is somewhere other than described, will not roll, needs additional recovery work, or a tire size differs from the one quoted — we will tell you what changes before we carry on.
Tires and parts
Where we supply a tire, you choose between new and used and we will tell you what we have available in your size. Used tires are sold as inspected serviceable items, not as new, and any manufacturer warranty on a new tire is the manufacturer’s and not ours. It is your responsibility to tell us the correct size and to let us know of any wheel damage or prior repair.
Payment
Payment is due when the service is completed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. You receive an itemized receipt showing the date, the pickup location, the destination and the charges broken out.
Cancellations
Call us as soon as you can if you no longer need the truck. If we have already dispatched and arrived, a call-out charge may apply.
Your vehicle and personal property
We handle every vehicle with care and use equipment and methods appropriate to it. Please remove valuables and important documents before we take the vehicle. Except where handling is governed by an instruction from a lienholder in a repossession, we are not responsible for personal property left inside, for pre-existing damage or mechanical condition, or for damage that could not reasonably be avoided given the vehicle’s condition or where it was situated.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost wages, missed appointments or rental costs. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in them displaces any liability that applies to us as a registered motor carrier under federal law.
Estimated arrival times
Any arrival time we give you is an honest estimate, not a guarantee. Traffic, weather, road closures and the number of calls ahead of yours all affect it. If something changes we will tell you rather than leave you waiting.
Website use
The content of this site is provided for general information about our services and may change without notice. Descriptions of services are not offers of a fixed price; pricing is quoted per job when you contact us.
Text messages
We do not operate a text-message marketing program. If you text the number on this site we will reply about your service request only, and standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
