Have these ready when you call
- Exactly where you are. An I-85 exit number, a mile marker, a cross street or a landmark you can actually see beats a road name every time.
- What you are driving. Year, make and model — and say if it is all-wheel drive, electric or lowered, because that decides how it gets loaded.
- The tire size, if it is a tire. Read the code off the sidewall, something like 265/70R17, and whether you want new or used.
- Whether it rolls and steers. A vehicle that will not roll needs the winch, and knowing that up front saves you a wait.
